Good article, thanks!
The way things are at the moment it looks as if CRT ought to be given it's own class pretty much as in BSB Evo. They're never going to compete with Factory Prototypes so why try to force them in that direction? Tuning may make them more competitive, but at what risk? Engine blow up's, with all the associated problems, perhaps?
It may make more sense to eventually fill the entire grid with CRT bikes and consign the Prototypes to the annals of History!

I dread the day that it may happen!

Don't mean to be rude Mike, all respects, but have anyone ever since March and the disaster seen an actual (independent) results about the radiation? Does the the fact that FIFA Club World Cup, the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships, the F1, the IndyCar are taking place over there is proof of safety?
My point is, You can not allow to push or blackmail someone to go, and do it over and over through columns, commands and shouting, even playing the "guilty conscience" card, instead of simply doing a research with an independent experts team (if You really are that bothered by their decisions not to go) and convincing them, and anyone else that the Motegi circuit is actually safe to go?
Please, don't get me wrong, supporting Japan is one thing, but threatening one that he can be easily replaced by "happily" accepted guest appearances, losing their jobs or "painting garage doors" is just not quite professional. Or at least I think so. With all due respect, I get Your point, I just don't think Your facts are relevant. That's all.

Marco Simoncelli was not at fault in his collision with Dani Pedrosa. Pedrosa's bike was standing up so much compared with Simoncelli's that it is even doubtful if he could have made the turn. He ran off at a tangent into Marco Simoncelli. Look at the pictures.

Didn't think he deserved a ride through. It was a clean overtake until Pedrosa hit him. I'm not even a fan of Simoncelli. Pedrosa should go play golf if he can't hack it.
